Music is Important!!!
Music Education is one of the most important parts of the education of children. This web site will give the music teacher, along with anyone else interested in learning more about music, a number of different sites that can be used for information or teaching purposes.
Music is a powerful, emotional force. From religious hymns that inspire spirituality to martial music that stimulates patriotism, music has long been used to shape and define what we feel. Music can express rollicking fun, intense longing, or rapturous romance--and carry the listener right along with these feelings.
Music has been used in healing arts since the times of the Old Testament. The scientific explanation of how music bridges the gap between the ear and the psyche is not completely clear, but many tudies have shown amazing physiological and emotional effects.
